Who are we?
Bitter-coffee studios comprises of young, energetic and creative minds, aim to conquer the design world with a hip and sassy working style. Our motto is to do serious work and to play even more seriously!
We usually keep a balance of both work and play to ensure the utmost quality in our work around an environment that will keep us alive – unlike many design studios/agencies, which practice 24/7 working schedule with no fun and play!
In a day, we keep it 12 hours of work, 5 hours of work with play, and 7 hours of pure play, from karaoke sessions to PS2 games or futsal; just name it, we’re game!
Why bitter-coffee?
People always ask us why bitter-coffee?
Sounds like a rundown coffee shop. It's actually derived from our (the founders) YM id which we think tell a lot about us.
But since "coffee" is also often synonym to artsy people / designers' best friend in times of rushing to meet deadlines, and in need of creatives ideas - so we thought it'd be cool to use "coffee".
And the "bitter" it gets, the tastier it is!
The Heads
Although, she's often caught being too playful - she's organized (especially when dealing with work). Her main role is to ensure that work gets done on time, with the best art direction to make clients happy! She's also a talented designer and *coughs* coder - always able to produce functional and applicable ideas to both her design and codes.
She will scream her lungs out while dealing with CSSforIE but don't worry she gets things done - with a delicious and unique touch, each time!
She's also our official color schemer girl! Without her, our portfolio would probably be in monochrome (ok, that was exaggerated! teehee!)
'Sides being the louder and more opinionated one in the bunch, she loves to figure out how things work and wouldn't mind to start from scratch. She has an eye for a good UI design so you can expect a functional, nice clean looking design from her.
She's also a great leader in the making!
